Fruit Muesli

Oatmeal makes a great breakfast choice, and so does this fruit muesli Instead of reaching for your usual sugary breakfast cereal, opt for oatmeal instead. Oatmeal is low in fat and high in fiber and other essential nutrients, which makes it a great way to start your day.
Ingredients:
  • 1½ cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups apple, diced
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon
  • ½ cup sliced banana
  • ¼ cup slivered almonds
Directions:
  1. Prepare oatmeal according to package directions.
  2. Add apples, raisins, honey, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Stir well.
  3. Cover and let stand in the refrigerator overnight.
  4. Heat in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Before serving, top with bananas and almonds.
